ADAA Partnered with General Authority of Civil Aviation , Saudi Arabia (GACA) to overhaul their billing and payments system. The existing processes were plagued with inefficiencies, errors, and compliance challenges, prompting the need for a modern, streamlined solution. The objective was to modernize and streamline the billing processes, enhance revenue collection efficiency, and provide seamless and user-friendly payment experience for its clients and stakeholders.
The existing billing system relied heavily on manual processes, leading to frequent errors and delays.
Due to the manual systems, there were delays in invoicing, management of payments and receivables.
There were no integrations with other systems like ERP which led to manual data entry to increase the risk of data inconsistency.
ADAA proposed a comprehensive strategy to modernize and streamline GACA’s billing and payments system. The key elements of the solution included:
Implementation of a robust billing software to automate invoicing and payment processing.
Integrate the system with GACA's existing ERP systems, data warehouses, and any other necessary external systems.
Development of a compliance module to automatically update and maintain regulatory standards.
Created an intuitive online portal where customers could view, manage, and pay their bills easily, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
Conducted a thorough needs assessment to understand the specific requirements and pain points of GACA through stakeholders interviews and questionnaires. Compiled and prioritized requirements based on the insights gathered, ensuring that all critical functionalities were identified and documented.
Developed low-fidelity prototypes to visualize the proposed solution and gather early feedback. After feedback from the stakeholders, refined prototypes into high-fidelity designs based on user feedback, ensuring the interface was intuitive and following the design principles and aligned with user expectations.
Adopted an agile development methodology, breaking the project into manageable sprints to allow for iterative progress and continuous discovery.
